'Across The Stars' ETC Festival Documentary

Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) holds a festival every fall to showcase student projects. Due to Covid regulations, the festival had to move to an online format for the 2021 festival.

For one of my projects, my team decided to film a small documentary about our game 'Across the Stars' for the livestream.

'The Pyres' TV Videos

'The Pyres' is an Oculus Quest horror game that I helped create as a sound designer. On top of my sound design, the game also includes two videos created by me that are played on a TV within the world.

The Social Bubble

This video was the final team assignment for my Visual Story class. The premise of the assignment was to tell a 3-4 minute story (no acting dialogue). This story was shot and produced by our team (Piece of Cake Productions) with several actors across four locations.

A Day in the Life of a Ghost

The Birthday Dilemma

This video was the first team assignment for my Visual Story class. The goal of this assignment was to demonstrate that your team understands the full production process of making a video by creating a 3-4 minute story.

Piece of Cake Productions is Jia (Lena) Du, James Finkel, Shicai He, Nolan O'Keefe, and Zizhuo Wang.

Self Portrait

This video was the only solo assignment for my Visual Story class. As the name suggests, the purpose of this assignment was to introduce yourself in a video format. I chose to cover "Paradise" by George Ezra in my video and then transition into an introduction to myself through dialogue and visuals.

University of Nebraska Cornhusker Marching Band | 2020 Fall Performance: 2020 in Hindsight, a Pandemic Playlist

The Cornhusker Marching Band had no live field performances during the fall 2020 season due to Covid protocols. However, the band persevered and created several virtual performances. For this collection of performances, I coordinated all the editors and directed/edited several videos.

Castles (opb Freya Ridings) by UNL's Pitch Please

Pitch Please is the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's premier co-ed a cappella. They are also some of my closest friends as I performed alongside them from 2016 - 2020 as their primary vocal percussionist.

This virtual performance was created in the summer of 2020. On top of my beatboxing duties, I organized individual video recordings and compiled them into this dynamic video.
